Recruitment Process and Privacy Policy

Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks such as reference checks, NPC, Credit Checks, driving history and a pre-employment medical which includes a drug/alcohol test in line with Makita's policies and procedures.

All personal information received by us from you or about you such as your name, Address, Contact Details, Resume, Employment History, Education Background, Referees and Results of Pre-employment Checks will be stored, used and disclosed by us in accordance with our privacy policy, a copy of which can be found at www.makita.com.au/Company/privacy-policy.

If you choose not to provide any of the information requested, we will be unable to send you information, fully process your application or properly consider you for employment.
All information submitted to us must be true and correct. You must not post or upload inaccurate, incomplete, false or misleading information.

Who your information may be disclosed to?
We may disclose the information you submit to referees, related companies and entities, recruitment agencies, and other relevant organisations who perform services on our behalf during the recruitment process.

Makita does not accept agency resumes. Please do not forward resumes to our jobs alias, Makita employees or any other company location. Makita is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
